The closure of the course of (good governance and principles of democracy) at Dar Al Ma’arif in Mukalla:

Dar Al Ma’arif for researches and statistics organized and funded a training course for young leaders in the field of good governance and principles of democracy( TOT) in Mukalla city between the period (18th – 22th) of December 2016 for 26 trainees from Hadramout (valley and coast), Aden, Al-Mahra and Socotra provinces.

At the end of the ceremony, which was attended by Mr. Khalid Al-Kathiri ,the governor’s consultant of Hadramout for Tribes Affairs. In his speech and on behalf of the management of Dar Al Ma’aref and the trainees, Mr.  Abdulaziz Saleh Jaber, the vice chairman and the executive director of Dar Al Ma’arif, , welcomed and thanked Mr. Khalid Al-Kathiri for his attendance to the closure ceremony of the young leaders in the field of good governance and the principles of democracy as the first course held by Dar Al Ma’arif for Research and Statistics. Mr. Abdulaziz Saleh Jaber thanked Mr.Ahmed Saeed Bin Breek, Hadramout governor for his interest and motivation towards young leaders projects.

Mr. Abdulaziz Saleh Jaber said “here in Dar Al Ma’arif, we are happy with this activity within a week, and we felt that Dar Al-Ma’arif is starting to put its foot in the development field, and here we are closing our course after a busy day in which you have learned about democracy and good governance, which are the basis for building the society”. He emphases that those who were trained in this course will be a key pillar in the work of Dar Al-Ma’arif for Research and Statistics in the future. Opportunities are open to all young people.

The executive director addressed the trainees “You must convey the ideas that you have learned and coordinate with forums and civil society organizations in your region to do micro-courses to disseminate these basic principles of good governance. We must create a social movement that has a positive impact on community,”

Mr. Jaber concluded by thanking the instructor Eng. Raida Ruwaished, for all the efforts that she made to convey the information to the trainees, and apologizing for any shortcoming.

On behalf of Dar Al Ma’arif for Research and Statistics, Khalil Aboudan  made a speech to thank and appreciation the trainees for their acceptance and participation in the first course of Dar Al Ma’arif, adding that everyone needs to understand the meaning of democracy and good governance, and they are in need for such courses to build the future.

Aboudan thanked the instructor Eng. Raida Ruwaished ,who did not hesitate to give all the information in these concepts, wishing to repeat such courses and activities

At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to trainees in the attendance of the director of Research and Statistics, Dr. Abdullah bin Ghauth and the director of programs and activities, Mr. Muthanna Bazriss.

The last training day was remarkable by the presence of Prof. Dr. Said Al-Sukuti, member of editing committee of the republic union constitution draft and the former dean of Law faculty at Hadramout University, explaining with details to trainees the stages that accompanied the editing of the state union constitution draft , where he clarified much of what was in the minds of the young people.
