Dar al-Ma’arif in Hadramout and the International Organization for Migration are discussing cooperation aspects

Ms. Ghada Abdullah, head of Emergency and Tracing displaced people Department at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Yemen, confirmed that the organization pays attention to the issues of refugees and displaced people in Hadramout province in its four governorates (Hadramout, Shabwa, Mahara, Socotra) and the organization has interventions in these governorates to lessen the suffering of displaced people and refugees in these governorates, and to reduce the effects of their displacement and find urgent solutions to ensure helping them, with the coordination with a number of organizations as well as local authorities, this was during a meeting at her office in Aden with the delegation of Dar al-Ma’arif for research and statistics in Hadramout, represented by Mr. Saeed Abdullah Bukran, Chairman of Dar Al Ma’arif, Mr. Abdulaziz Saleh Jaber, vice chairman and executive director, and Dr. Abdullah Salem bin Ghauth, director of Research and Statistics Department in al-Dar. The delegation talked about Dar Al Ma’arif’s objectives, visions and missions in research, statistics and human development, they also reviewed the plans and programs that Dar Al Ma’arif intends to implement during the coming period. thanking the International Organization for Migration and Ms. Ghada Abdullah for meeting with them, wishing that this would be the beginning of cooperation and partnership between the two sides in the future, they expressed their willings to cooperate with the International Organization for Migration to implement its programs in the provinces of Hadramout. At the end of the meeting, Ms. Ghada Abdullah said that the organization is happy with this cooperation and Dar Al Ma’arif will be one of the institutions that will receive the care and attention of the Organization in the future.
