Mukalla city witnessed the graduation of the batch of our media is a message in the media press at the University of Hadramout with the contribution of Dar Al-Ma’arif Research and Statistics

A Community Participation by Dar Al-Ma’arif Research and Statistics, The lecture hall of  Dr. Ali Hod Baabad at Hadramout University last Thursday evening witnessed the farewell ceremony for (45) graduates of the fifth batch in the Department of Press and media at the Faculty of Arts.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Muthanna Badrees, the executive director of Dar Al-Ma’arif for Research and Statistics, Dr. Doaa Salem Bawazeer, Head of Press and media Department, Mr. Awad bin Hamel, Director General of Mukalla and Mr. Salah Al-Amari, Press Secretary of the Governor, Dr. Walid Al-Batati, executive director of Hadramout Cancer Foundation, Eng. Nasser Bin Shamlan , executive director of Baqdeq Real Estate Investment Corporation,  faculty members, a number of educational and media personalities and directors of government facilities.

In the first paragraph, the graduates expressed their gratitude by a message entitled ” our media is a message” , which talked about journalists freedom in the performance of their press duties following the escalation of violations against journalists from physical qualifiers, arrests, threats and obstruction of duties.

The graduation ceremony was followed by a wonderful recitation of verses of the Holy Quran recited by the graduate (Rushdi Bashaa). The graduates then gave thanks to God for their success. A representative of the Graduation (Abdulrahman Baterfi) Hadramout from parents, professors and doctors.

The representative of the batch (Baterfi) thanked and appreciated the teaching staff for their efforts during the years of the study. He also thanked all parents of the graduates for their children’s material and moral support during their academic studies and during their four years of education.

On the other hand (Baterfi) sincere thanks and gratitude on behalf of the payment of the graduate to all supporters and sponsors of the ceremony.

The concert included several musical notes and group dances, in which a group of artists participated, accompanied by the children of al- Ma’arif schools for preformed dancing, and with the participation of the break dance band and others which added beauty and distinction to the graduation ceremony of the fifth batch.

At the end of the ceremony, the graduates and the staff were honored and thanked all the supporters and contributors, especially Dar Al-Ma’arif for Research and Statistics, which had a prominent and pivotal role in making the event a success.
